Good morning, Lakers Families.

Time Trials is on Saturday, 5/4, at 8:30 am! We are so excited for another great season of competition! The purpose of Time Trials is to give new swimmers and volunteers a feel for an actual swim meet. All swimmers must have a time in our software in order to participate in an official meet and compete against the other teams in our Division. This is also a good chance for volunteers to see how we run our meets and understand what the various jobs entail. If your family is new, we really hope you participate! This is just for our team, it's low-pressure and so much fun!!

** We will be taking a Team Picture at 8:00 am before Time Trials starts **

Please take the time to read through the following instructions for how to sign up for events and jobs. These instructions are the same for each swim meet.

All meet signup & volunteering is done through our website/Swimtopia.

1. Log in to huntsvillelakers.swimtopia.com. On the home page, scroll down to “Next Meet.” You will see 2 green buttons: “Meet Entry” and “Job Sign Up.”
2. Click “Meet Entry” → “edit” → choose “Attending this meet” or “Not attending this meet” for each swimmer. IF NOT ATTENDING, click “Save,” and you’re done!
3. IF ATTENDING, all available events will appear on the screen. It is recommended swimmers get times for ALL 6 events if able to swim legally. Talk with coaches about which events to sign up for. Don’t forget to hit “SAVE.”
4. Volunteering: We absolutely cannot run our meets without the help of our families! Please, we ask that at least one person per swimmer family helps for the duration of the meet. Click "Job SignUp" → “Sign up for Jobs.” Click the checkbox next to your job, scroll down & “SAVE.”
5. Meet Entries always close at 12:00 pm on Thursdays!
6. Volunteer Sign Ups always close at 8:00 am on Fridays!
