We would like to thank everyone for a great season.  The Lakers placed 2nd overall at Divisionals yesterday and received a beautiful trophy.  This week the Lakers will prepare for the Trinity and Ponderosa Invitationals.  If your swimmer is not participating, they will no longer need to attend practice.  We will be sending information regarding the end of the year award party later this week. Those who are swimming this weekend need to be at practice everyday!  Due to high temperatures, Coach Matt would prefer swimmers attend the 6:45 am practice if possible.  Nadadore swimmers will continue to have practice at 5:40 am.  If you are unable to bring your swimmer to morning practice, please note when the temperatures go up outside, so does the water.  For those who are swimming at Trinity-The Lakers are required to provide 2 parents to time.  Since I will be at Ponderosa, this will need to be organized by those in attendance. Timing is NOT optional, if your child swims you need to help!  Please note-If your swimmer does not attend their scheduled warm up time, they will be scratched from the meet and your money will NOT be refunded.  It is imperative that everyone is on time to both meets.  Please account for the drive time and time to set up.  I would also encourage everyone to sit together.  This is helpful in covering timing and allows the kids to spend time together (this is the best part).  If you would like specific information on set up, warm ups, seating, or items that will be sold, please check the invitational websites: www.trinitysummerclassic.com and www.ponderosainvitational.org.
