Parents, 

This email is just to assist with the process of registering and working the swim meets.  With the unpredictable weather, I wanted everyone to know what SHOULD be happening from this point on.

Every Tuesday by midnight- everyone should have gone online to huntsvillelakers.swim-team.us to sign their swimmer (s) up for events (max 3 individual).  

Every Wednesday before you leave the pool, go to the verification table and check the events you have your swimmer in for that week's meet.  The sheets will be divided by girls and boys and then in ABC order.  You will initial if you are satisfied with what they are scheduled to swim. If you do not want your swimmer (s) in a relay, please note that by their name.  Please remember it is very important that you verify events, if something is incorrect it can be difficult to add them later and some teams won't allow it.**Note for third session- you need to verify at the beginning of practice so the computer staff can begin working on relay teams. 

Thursday-Coach's review the Relay teams and make changes. Please note relays are selected by those swimmers with the fastest times in those events.  Coaches have the final decision on which swimmers will be in the relay (s) and what leg they will swim. 

Thursday at 5 pm-deadline for volunteer positions to be filled (this is easier to do on Tues when signing up your swimmer, but we understand sometimes things are in the air.  Please remember all positions must be filled in order for the meets to run smoothly, if everyone does their part no one is overloaded. If you are unsure of what position you can work, speak with Amy Turner or Nikki Surley and we can get you somewhere.

Thursday at 6 pm-All meet entries are shared with the other team and heat-sheets are created.

Saturday Home meets-set up begins 6:15- 6:30 am. There are volunteer positions for this job, but the more people who help, the faster it gets done, then everyone can focus on their kids.

Saturday after the meet-Meet clean up, 3 Spoons for ice cream, then NAP....repeat next week.

Nikki
