TAAF info
June 25th
The TAAF (Texas Amatuer Athletic Federation) Regional Meet (Region 5) will be held in Temple on July 13th. All athletes that place in the top 3 in each event will qualify to swim in the Summer Games of Texas in Corpus Christi July 25-28.
The Regional Medals are beautiful. The meet is fun.
I have already registered several of our swimmers and adults, including the Dean family who did not swim Lakers this year, Forrest Lowe- former Laker and SHSU student, Darrell Rose and others. If you are interested, please text me or email me ASAP. I must have all entered by June 30. All swimmers 15 and over, can swim TAAF even if they swam Ags and High School. Swimmers 14 and under can only swim TAAF if they swam summer league only.
ALSO, our 15 and overs can swim the State meet in Corpus even if they don't place 1st-3rd at Regionals, but must enter and pay for their State entries at the close of the Regional meet.
