The Huntsville Lakers Swim Team is a competitive swim program for children ages 4 to 18 living in Walker, Trinity, San Jacinto, or Madison counties. Practice is held at the Huntsville Aquatic Center at the Eastham –Thomason Park located at Avenue N and 9th Street near the downtown post office. Practice starts May 2nd and runs through June 29th.
Registration: Early registration is online at www.huntsvillelakers.swim-team.us . Payment can be made by credit card online for a small fee or checks can be mailed to The Lakers at PO Box 296 Huntsville, TX 77342-0296. Payment must be received before May 2nd to receive the reduced price.
Minimum Qualifications:
Lakers - Ages 10 and Under -- Swim 25 yards Freestyle
Ages 11 to 18 -- Swim 50 yards Freestyle
Pre-Lakers – None (Pre-Lakers ends the last practice in May)
Practice times: Groups based on swimming ability
Group 1 – 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm / Monday - Thursday
Group 2 – 5:30 pm – 6:15 pm / Monday - Thursday
Group 3 – 6:15 pm – 7:30 pm / Monday - Thursday
Cost: Pre-Registration 1-swimmer – $90.00 / each additional child per family - $80.00
After May 2nd – 1 swimmer – $100.00 / each additional child per family - $90.00
